What is free
The drawing viewer and the document viewer are free, including markup and measuring. So are projects — as many as you like — files and folders, the iOS app, and inviting your team: everyone you invite is free, with no limit on how many.
SiteWorks Core
SiteWorks Core is $199 a month per workspace. It adds planning (Planner, Lookahead, Timeline, Schedule, Pull Plan and Constraints), RFIs, submittals, takeoff, the directory, and project and user email. The first 100 workspaces to subscribe pay $99 a month instead, for as long as that subscription runs. A workspace's first Core payment includes $99 of AI credit. It renews every month until it is cancelled.
One free workspace. Each person may create one workspace without a subscription. Workspaces you are invited to do not count toward that. A second workspace you create starts with Core.
If a subscription ends. Nothing is deleted. Your projects, drawings, files, schedules, RFIs, submittals and directory stay visible and exportable for as long as your account exists, and anyone you invited keeps their access to read them. What stops is writing: adding, editing and deleting in the parts Core covers. Subscribe again and everything works as before, with nothing to restore and no import to run.
Extras
Financials — budgets, change orders and cost tracking — is $49 a month per workspace.
Client Portal — what your client sees of a project — is $99 once per project, not a subscription. The first project in each workspace is free. A Client Portal purchase belongs to the project it was bought for and cannot be moved to another project.
If a subscription ends
Nothing is deleted. The workspace keeps everything it holds, readable and exportable, but what the subscription covered cannot be edited until you subscribe again.
AI credit
The AI features are optional and are the only metered thing, including AI inside the free viewers. They run on paid models and are paid for from prepaid credit at twice what the model costs us; every request is metered and its cost shown to you in the app. Anyone can buy credit, on a free account too. New accounts get $5 of AI credit when you verify your cell number. Beyond that, credit is bought — top up in any of these amounts:
Credit is denominated one-to-one in US dollars — a dollar purchased is a dollar of credit. Credit you buy is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it does not expire. Payments are handled by Stripe; card details never touch SiteWorks.
Credit can belong to a workspace or to you. On a workspace's projects, the workspace's credit is spent first and then yours; a workspace's credit is never spent anywhere else.
Granted credit. Credit we give rather than sell — the credit included with a first Core payment, the credit for confirming your email, or any other grant — is not refundable, cannot be transferred to another person or workspace, and expires 12 months after it was granted.
Refunds
AI credit. Email us within 30 days of a purchase and we will refund any credit you have not spent. Credit already consumed on AI requests is not refundable, because the underlying model cost has been incurred. Credit is not redeemable for cash.
Subscriptions. Cancel Core or Financials any time from Billing → Manage billing, or email us and we will cancel it for you. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not refund a period part-way through. After it ends, your workspace stays readable and exportable — you simply cannot add or change anything until you subscribe again.
Free trials. A free trial we give you needs no card. We email you before it ends. If you add a card, billing starts when the trial ends; if you don’t, the subscription pauses — nothing is charged and nothing is deleted.
Disputed payments. If a payment is disputed with your card issuer (a chargeback), the subscription it paid for ends, the workspace becomes read-only as described above, and any unspent credit granted with that subscription is removed.
SiteTalk. A SiteTalk purchase is a one-time payment for the app and is final: it is not refundable. The speech and AI usage SiteTalk draws from your AI credit follows the AI credit terms above.
Text messages
SiteWorks project notifications. SiteWorks sends sign-in codes you request, and notices about construction projects you are part of — for example, that you were added to a project. SiteWorks does not send marketing texts.
How you opt in. When you join a project, you may enter your own mobile number and tick the "Text me SiteWorks messages" box yourself. It starts unticked and is never required. The exact box and wording are shown on our Text messages page. Nobody else, including the person who invited you, can opt your number in.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from SiteWorks; you will get one message confirming it. Reply HELP for help, or email support@siteworks.app. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your number is described on the Privacy page.
